These herbed breadsticks are so simple to make, as your bread machine does all the heavy lifting.

Ingredients

3 Cup(c)  bread flour
1 Cup(c)  water
3 Tablespoon(T)  butter
2 Tablespoon(T)  sugar
2 1/4 Teaspoon(t)  bread machine yeast
2 Teaspoon(t)  dried rosemary leaves, crushed
1 1/2 Teaspoon(t)  salt
1 Teaspoon(t)  dried oregano leaves, crushed
1   egg white

Preparation

Measure carefully, placing all ingredients except 1 tablespoon water and the egg white in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select dough/manual cycle. Grease cookie sheet. Divide dough into 30 equal pieces. Roll each piece into 8 inch rope. Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheet. Cover and let rise in warm place 20 to 25 minutes, or until puffy. Heat oven to 350° F. Beat 1 tablespoon water and the egg white. Brush over dough. Bake 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
