A perfect way to eat shrimp, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

1 1/2 Pound(lb)  medium shrimp, shelled and deveined
2 Cup(c)  vegetable oil for frying
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  salt
1/2 Cup(c)  beer
1/2 Cup(c)  all purpose flour


In small bowl, with wire whisk, mix flour, beer, and salt until smooth batter forms.

In 2 quart saucepan, heat 2 inches vegetable oil until temperature reaches 375 degrees F on a deep-fat thermometer. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels.

Dip 6 shirmp, one at a time, into batter then carefully lower into hot oil.  Fry, turning once, until golden for about 1 minute.  Using slotted spoon, transfer the shrimp to paper towels to drain.

Coat and fry the remaining shrimp.

Eat as is or with saue of choice.
