Recipe Description
This unique recipe was sent to me by an old friend from Ireland. These are apparently an old fashioned teatime treat. Serve them with tea, or a wintry breakfast.

Serves Tool

Serves To:USMetric
5 Cup(c)  flour
2   egg yolks
2 Cup(c)  fresh light snow
3 3/4 Cup(c)  milk

Beat the milk and flour together. Add the fresh light snow. Mix in gently and leave for some hours to melt, so that the snow aerates the flour and milk. This makes a very light but very pale pancake. It can be made richer by adding some egg yolks, but the egg whites are not needed. Cook until bubbles appear, then flip pancakes and cook on the other side until done.
