Red pepper and basil add a depth of flavor to these crisp pita chips. Enjoy them plain, or team them up with your favorite dip.

6   pita, quartered and opened
1/2 Cup(c)  unsalted margarine
1 Tablespoon(T)  parsley flakes, dried
2 1/4 Teaspoon(t)  basil, dried
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  dill, dried
1/8 Teaspoon(t)  red pepper flakes


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt margarine in a saucepan. Add spices. Place pita pieces on a cookie sheet or sheets. Brush spiced margarine on each piece. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 25 minutes. Let cool. Store in closed can.
