Stir Fry Asian Broccoli

Recipe Description
An easy broccoli stir fry dish with Chinese flair.  A truly versatile side that works well with many main entrees.

1 Bunch(bn)  broccoli
2 Cup(c)  chicken broth
1 1/2 Tablespoon(T)  salad oil
1 Clove(clv)  garlic, crushed
1/8 Teaspoon(t)  salt
1 Pinch(pn)  sugar
1 Tablespoon(T)  oyster sauce


Remove outer skin from the lower half of the broccoli stem.  Cut broccoli into 3 inch pieces.  Place broccoli into boiling chicken broth.  Remove after 30 seconds and drain.  Heat salad oil until smoking.  Brown garlic clove in oil, then sprinkle salt into the oil.  Stir fry broccoli for one minute.  Season with sugar and oyster sauce.
