Recipe Description
Great things take time, and this pulled pork is no exception.  Start this recipe in advance, and let your slow cooker do all the work.

Ingredients

18 Ounce(oz)  barbecue sauce
1 Teaspoon(t)  liquid smoke
1 Cup(c)  apple juice
2   onions, sliced
1 Cup(c)  apple cider vinegar
4 Pound(lb)  pork shoulder

Preparation

Slice one onion and place in crock pot.  Put in the roast and cover with the other onion, sliced.  Pour over the vinegar and cider.  Cover and cook on low for about 9 hours.  Remove the meat, strain the onions and discard all liquid.  Shred the meat, discarding any remaining fat, bones or skin.  Return the shredded meat and the onions to the crock pot, and stir in the barbecue sauce.  Continue to cook for another 3 hours on low.
