Tasty Apple Cake

Recipe Description
This presents healthier alterantive to tradtional cakes a s fruit and whole wheat flour add some nutrion to the cake.

Serves To:USMetric
1 1/4 Cup(c)  sugar
1 Cup(c)  vegetable oil
3   eggs
1 Teaspoon(t)  vanilla
1 1/2 Cup(c)  flour
1/2 Cup(c)  whole wheat flour
1 1/2 Teaspoon(t)  cinnamon
1 Teaspoon(t)  soda
1 Teaspoon(t)  salt
5 Cup(c)  raw apples, diced
1/2 Cup(c)  nuts, chopped


Blend first 4 ingredients together in mixing bowl. Add the next 5 ingredients and stir well. Fold in the apples and nuts. Spread batter in greased 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Mix together cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.

Additional notes

Notes: Sugar - 1 cup for cake and 1/4 cup to be mixed with cinnamon to sprinkle. Cinnamon - 1 tsp. for cake and 1/4 tsp. to be mixed with sugar.
