Recipe Description
This is a great lemonade recipe for pleasing a party crowd, as the yield is approximately 1 gallon. Make this ahead of time, so it has plenty of time to chill to the proper temperature.

Ingredients

4   lemons
3 Cup(c)  sugar
1 Quart(q)  hot water
3 Quart(q)  cold water

Preparation

Wash and slice lemons. Remove seeds. Stomp lemon slices and sugar together with a potato masher until well mixed. Add hot water to lemon and sugar mixture and stir to dissolve sugar and extract the lemon pulp and juice. Squeeze lemon slices by hand to get balance of juice before disposing of slices. Add cold water to mixture and stir until well blended. Chill and serve.
