Veal And Sweet Peppers

Veal and peppers-a classic Italian duo-here mixed with green peas and served over bow~tie pasta

2 Tablespoon(T)  all-purpose flour
1 Teaspoon(t)  dried sage, crumbled
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  dried marjoram crumbled
3/4 Cup(c)  beef broth
1/4 Cup(c)  marsala, dry white wine, beef stock
2 Teaspoon(t)  comstarch
8 Ounce(oz)  bow-tie pasta or ziti
1   medium-size sweet red pepper, sliced
1   medium-size sweet yellow, sliced
1 Cup(c)  green peas
2 Tablespoon(T)  vegetable oil
12 Ounce(oz)  veal scaloppine, cut crosswise into strips 1/2 inch wide
1 Tablespoon(T)  heavy cream


Combine the flour, 1/2 teaspoon of the sage and the marjoram in a small paper bag and set aside.

In a 1-pint measuring cup, blend the stock with the Marsala, cornstarch, and remaining sage and set aside.

Cook the pasta according to package directions, adding the peppers and peas during the last 4 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over modera tely high heat for 1 minute. Quickly. shake the veal in the flour mixture in the bag, add to the skillet, and brown for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Using a slotted spoon, arrange the veal around the edge of a large, deep platter.

As soon as the pasta, peppers and peas are tender, drain well mound in the middle of the platter, and cover with foil.

Stir the stock mixture, add to the  skillet, and bring to a boil, scraping up any browned bits.

Boil, uncovered, for 1 minute, smooth in the cream, and spoon over the pasta and veal.

Easy to make with classic Italian taste. My husband would of ate the plate they wre on if could . He Really liked this recipe would make again.
