Ingredients

1/4 Teaspoon(t)  cayenne pepper
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  sugar
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  oregano
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  black pepper
1 Teaspoon(t)  salt
1 1/2 Teaspoon(t)  garlic powder
1 Teaspoon(t)  cumin
1/4 Cup(c)  green pepper
1/2 Cup(c)  celery chopped
1/4 Cup(c)  chili powder
1 1/2 Cup(c)  chopped onion
1 Can(cn)  red beans 15 oz
1 Can(cn)  tomato puree 29 oz
1 Quart(q)  tomato juice
2 Pound(lb)  lean ground beef

Preparation

In a large pan, brown the ground beef; drain.

Put the drained beef and the remaining ingredients into a 6-quart pot.Cover the pot; let it simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
