Recipe Description
This rub compliments flank steak and any type of beef steak or raost. It is very tasty.

Ingredients

2 Teaspoon(t)  ground oregano
2 Teaspoon(t)  ground cumin
1   vegetable cooking spray
1   flank steak, trimmed
1 1/2 Tablespoon(T)  olive oil
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  ground allspice
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  salt
2 Teaspoon(t)  garlic powder
3 Tablespoon(T)  brown sugar

Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients in a shallow bowl. Stir in olive oil until combined. Gently rub olive oil mixture evenly on steak. Let stand 20 minutes.

Coat cold cooking grate with cooking spray, and place on grill over medium-high heat (350° to 400°).

Place steak on cooking grate, and grill, covered with grill lid, 8 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness.

Let stand 5 minutes; cut steak diagonally across the grain into thin slices.
