Like the egg in egg salad or the tuna in tuna salad, tofu is a main component of this filling and I don't try to hide it, only enhance it with some herbs and seasonings.

1   carrot
1 Tablespoon(T)  minced fresh parsley
1 Tablespoon(T)  minced onions
1 Teaspoon(t)  dried dill
1/8 Teaspoon(t)  tabasco sauce
1/8 Teaspoon(t)  freshly ground pepper
1 Teaspoon(t)  vegetable oil
2 Teaspoon(t)  soy sauce
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  honey
1 Tablespoon(T)  apple cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon(T)  lemon juice
1 Pound(lb)  firm tofu


Combine the tofu and all the remaining ingredients except the parsley and carrot in a food processor fitted with a metal blade. Process until semi-chunky. Add the parsley, processing only 1 or 2 seconds to prevent the spread from turning green.
Replace the metal blade with the shredder blade. Grate the carrot into the work bowl.
Empty the contents into a container and stir until well blended.
