1 Dash(ds)  pepper, to taste
2 Pound(lb)  asparagus
1 Teaspoon(t)  lemon juice
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  basil, dried
2 Tablespoon(T)  low fat margarine

Preparation

Prepare the asparagus and boil gently until tender, but still crisp, about 8 minutes. Melt the margarine in a saucepan. Add the basil, pepper and lemon juice. Pour over the asparagus and serve hot.
