Recipe Description
My friend Shara, got some of her family's cooking creativity and made up this simple and tasty recipe for baked tomatoes. This one is delicious any night of the week.

Ingredients

1 Pinch(pn)  salt, to taste
2 Tablespoon(T)  bread crumbs
2 Tablespoon(T)  olive oil
1 Clove(clv)  garlic, crushed
4 Tablespoon(T)  pale yellow romano type cheese, grated
2 Teaspoon(t)  basil
1 Pinch(pn)  pepper, to taste
4   tomatoes, cut in half

Preparation

Cut tomatoes in half. Place in greased baking dish. Sprinkle each with salt and pepper. Mix together bread crumbs, oil and garlic. Sprinkle over tomatoes. Sprinkle on cheese and basil. Broil until brown.
