Recipe Description
Slow cooked ribs with a little crunch from the broiler. Recipe is easily scaleable you would like to increase portions.

Ingredients

4 Pound(lb)  spareribs
1 Unknown()  salt and pepper to taste
1   medium onion, sliced
16 Ounce(oz)  barbecue sauce

Preparation

Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper.

Place ribs in broiler pan under broiler (as far from flame as possible) for 20 to 30 minutes to brown and remove excess fat.

Checking ribs frequently.

Slice ribs into serving size pieces and place in a crock pot.

Add sliced onions and barbecue sauce.

Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.

Additional notes

To make ribs with a smokier flavor add a teaspoon of mustard.
