Recipe Description
If you are looking for ways to boost your intake of green vegetables and calcium, this hummus will help you accomplish just that. The fact that it's extremely flavorful and delicious won't hurt, either. If your kids are usually reluctant to eat vegetables, they might not even be aware of their presence in this spread.

1 Cup(c)  steamed broccoli, chopped
1 Can(cn)  cooked garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1 Teaspoon(t)  lemon zest
1 1/2 Tablespoon(T)  fresh lemon juice
2 Tablespoon(T)  extra virgin olive oil
2 Tablespoon(T)  tahini
2 Teaspoon(t)  toasted sesame oil
2 Teaspoon(t)  ground cumin
1 Teaspoon(t)  fine sea salt, to taste
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation

Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and process until smooth, scraping the sides with a rubber spatula several times.

Serve chilled.
