Recipe Description
The Chinese marinade in this recipe is spicy, with just a hint of sweetness.  I prefer to cook these on my outdoor barbecue for the extra added flavor of the grill.

Ingredients

1 Pound(lb)  new york strip steak
2 Tablespoon(T)  sesame oil
2 Tablespoon(T)  chili garlic sauce
1/4 Cup(c)  chinese barbecue sauce
1/4 Cup(c)  soy sauce
12   cherry tomatoes
8   mushrooms
1/2 Cup(c)  green chili pepper, cut into 1 inch cubes
1   large onion, cut into 1 inch cubes
8 Ounce(oz)  pineapple chunks, drained

Preparation

For marinade, combine soy sauce, Chinese barbecue sauce, chili garlic sauce and sesame oil.  Reserve half of marinade.  Add beef to remaining half and marinate for 2 hours.  Drain beef, discarding marinade.  Alternately thread beef, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, green chili pepper, onion and pineapple chunks onto metal skewers.  Preheat grill or broiler.  Grill or broil kabobs for 5 to 7 minutes, brushing occasionally with reserved marinade.  Turn kabobs over and grill 5 to 7 minutes more or until done.
