Tender and crisp green beans are perked up with lemon and orange juice in this simple side dish recipe.

Ingredients

16 Ounce(oz)  frozen cut green beans, thawed
3 Tablespoon(T)  butter
3 Clove(clv)  garlic, minced
1/4 Cup(c)  orange juice
2 Tablespoon(T)  lemon juice
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  salt
1/8 Teaspoon(t)  white pepper

Preparation

Drain beans well and dry with paper towel. Set aside. In large skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Cook over medium heat until garlic is fragrant, about 2 minutes. Then add green beans. Cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes, or until beans are crisp tender. Stir in lemon juice, orange juice, salt and pepper, and heat through. Serve immediately.
