Traditional Amish Corn Salad that is easy to make.

Ingredients

2 Teaspoon(t)  mustard
1 1/2 Cup(c)  sugar
1 Teaspoon(t)  salt
1 1/2 Cup(c)  dried corn
1 Pint(pt)  vinegar
5   sweet peppers
1   head cabbage

Preparation

Chop the peppers and cabbage.

If using fresh corn, cut from the cob.

Mix all ingredients, add a pint of water and cook for 15 minutes.

Serve hot, or cold with lettuce or cress.
