1 Cup(c)  shortening
1 Cup(c)  brown sugar
1 Cup(c)  sugar
1 Teaspoon(t)  vanilla
2   eggs
1 1/4 Cup(c)  flour
1 Teaspoon(t)  baking powder
1 Teaspoon(t)  baking soda
2 Cup(c)  puffed rice cereal
1 Cup(c)  coconut
1 Cup(c)  peanuts, unsalted
2 Cup(c)  oatmeal, regular, uncooked


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream together the shortening and sugars.

Add the vanilla and eggs, mix well.

Sift together the flour, baking powder and baking soda and add to mixture.

Add rice krispy cereal, coconut, peanuts and oatmeal.

Stir into mix.

Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
