Recipe Description
If you are making Basic Yeast Bread, you'll already have the dough ready to make these fun shaped dinner rolls.

Ingredients

1 Tablespoon(T)  water
1   egg
1 Cup(c)  vegetable oil
1 Cup(c)  basic yeast bread dough

Preparation

Brush a baking sheet with vegetable oil or spray with non stick baking spray. Using Basic Yeast Bread dough, and using a rolling pin, roll out into a circle about 1/4 inch thick. Using a knife, cut into 8 wedges. Starting from the outside edge, roll dough into the center and curve ends inwards. Using a fork, beat 1 egg with 1 tsblespoon of water. Brush over dough. Place rolls about 1 inch apart on prepared baking sheet. Let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400° F. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until rolls are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped on bottom. Let cool on a wire rack.
