Recipe Description
This creamy fish cocktail can be served a top a bed of lettuce as a fisrt course salad, or as an appetizer.

1/4 Cup(c)  prepared techina (sesame seed paste)
3/4 Cup(c)  yogurt
1   medium onion, sliced
2 Clove(clv)  garlic, crushed
1 Pinch(pn)  salt, to taste
4   mint leaves
1 Pinch(pn)  pepper, to taste
1 Pound(lb)  tilapia, fried and cubed


Cut fish into cubes, marinate in wine a few hours, drain and place on paper towels. Dredge in flour and fry in a little oil until golden. Drain on paper towels before putting in salad. Place fried and cubed fish in a mixing bowl. Add techina, yogurt, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix lightly and set aside. Divide into 4 and place in bowls. Garnish with mint leaves or almonds.


Additional notes

Variation: Can be served as appetizers with tooth picks.
