Recipe Description
Refreshing is the right word for mint tea. It's also good to sip if you have a slightly upset stomach.

Ingredients

3 Cup(c)  water
3 Cup(c)  mint leaves, lightly packed
4 Slice(sli)  fresh lime
1 Pinch(pn)  sweetener (optional)

Preparation

In a 1 1/2 quart saucepan, bring the water to a boil over high heat. Remove from heat. Stir in the mint leaves. Let steep 10 to 15 minutes, or until leaves lose their bright green color and start to sink to the bottom of the pot. Strain the tea and discard the leaves. If desired, squeeze in the lime and drop in the squeezed wedges. Add sweetener to taste.

Additional notes

Variation: Iced Mint Tea: Chill and serve over ice cubes.
