Recipe Description
This delicate frozen treat is layered with cocoa, rum and coffee liqueur. Make this a day in advance to achieve a nice, firm consistency.

8 Ounce(oz)  non hydrogenated, non dairy cream cheese
8 Ounce(oz)  firm silken tofu
2/3 Cup(c)  soy or other non dairy milk
3/4 Cup(c)  light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 Cup(c)  coffee liqueur
1 Tablespoon(T)  rum
1 Pinch(pn)  fine sea salt
1/4 Cup(c)  unsweetened cocoa powder


Place the cream cheese, tofu, milk, sugar, liqueur, rum, and salt in a food processor and blend until smooth, scraping the sides occasionally. Strain using a fine mesh sieve. Chill overnight. Transfer to an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Layer and alternate the ice cream with the cocoa powder in 4 small sized dessert dishes. Place in the freezer for at least 1 hour if you want the dessert to have an even firmer consistency.
