Recipe Description
Tender, mouth watering baked apples, are perfect for almost any occasion.  I have eaten these apples for quite some time, as my grandmother used to make these for me.   I always liked to add a sprinkle of cinnamon to the topping, for a little touch of spice.

1 Dash(ds)  cinnamon
1/2 Cup(c)  butter
1 Cup(c)  sugar
4   tart apples


Wash and core four tart apples.  Place them in a baking dish and fill the cavity of each apple with brown sugar, and top with a dollop of sweet butter.  Add water to cover the bottom of the dish, and bake at 350 degrees F for an hour and a half, or until tender, basting frequently.
