Herbs Recipes

Herbs exist in bountiful variety, including seeds, leave and flowers of plants. Herbs are used to flavor foods, create medicine and add scent to perfumes. For culinary purposes, herbs are usually used in small amounts to add flavor, rather than substance to dishes. Browny's Clam Chowder Copy Cat

This chowder was a specialty of Browny's Seafood Broiler in Richmond Beach, just north of Seattle. The restaurant is no longer in business-but you can still enjoy the soup any time.

Bulgur Wheat Salad

Bulgur wheat varies in coarseness. The larger the grain, the longer it needs to soak. This salad can be served on a bed of romaine lettuce leaves.

Garlic Pita Points

I use the commercially available pita bread with pockets for this recipe. These crispy crackers
are great for any Middle Eastern type of spread or dip.

Shrimp Bisque
