Recipe Description
A simple fondue that can be made in sauce pan.  This has always been a party favorite in our household.

1/2 Pound(lb)  french bread, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 Teaspoon(t)  pepper
1/4 Cup(c)  vegetable broth
2 Teaspoon(t)  all purpose flour
1/2 Clove(clv)  garlic, minced
1/4 Cup(c)  dry white wine
2 Cup(c)  swiss cheese, coarsely shredded


In a small bowl, toss together the cheese and flour and set aside.  In a heavy bottomed, 1 quart saucepan, heat the wine, broth, garlic and pepper over medium heat until scalded (bubbles form around the edges but mixture is not boiling).  Gradually stir in the cheese until melted.  Heat mixture until it starts to bubble, about 1 minute.  Serve with bread cubes.
