Ingredients

   dill
2   egg yolks
2/3 Cup(c)  milk
1 1/3 Pound(lb)  white fish, cut in chunks
2 Clove(clv)  garlic chopped
2   small leeks, chopped
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  thyme
1   bay leaf
6   sprigs parsley, cbopped
   dash pepper
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  salt
2 Teaspoon(t)  pareve chicken soup powder
1 1/3 Cup(c)  hot water
2 Tablespoon(T)  celery, chopped
1 Cup(c)  carrots, sliced
2   medium onions, chopped
4 Teaspoon(t)  oil
4 Teaspoon(t)  butter or margarine

Preparation

Heat butter or margarine and oil in a soup pot. Brown onions.

Add carrots, celery, water, chicken soup powder, salt, pepper, parsley, bay leaf, thyme, leeks and garlic. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 25 minutes.

Add fish. Simmer 15 minutes.

Beat milk in a bowl with egg yolks. Stir into soup. Heat.

Sprinkle with dill.

Serve hot.
