Serves Tool

Serves To:USMetric
3   eggs
1 59/1000 Gram(g)  parmesan cheese, freshly grated
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  paprika
1 Teaspoon(t)  salt
3 1/2000 Gram(g)  plain flour
1 59/1000 Gram(g)  butter, melted
50 Teaspoon(t)  milk

Preheat oven to 425°F.  Grease 12 small ramekins.  With an electric mixer, beat the eggs until blended.  Beat in the milk and melted butter.  Sift together the flour, salt and paprika, then beat into the egg mixture.  Add the cheese and stir.  Fill the prepared cups half full and bake until golden, about 25 to 30 minutes.  Do not open the oven door or the popovers may collapse.  For drier popovers, pierce each one with a knife after the 30 minute baking time and bake for 5 minutes more.  Serve hot.
