These go great with hummus or in place of potato chips.

1 Package(pk)  6" pita bread
1/2 Cup(c)  butter
   garlic powder with parsley
   dried oregano leaves, to taste
   dried tarragon, to taste
   dried dill, to taste
1 Cup(c)  romano cheese, finely grated


Cut around edge of pita bread to make 2 halves.

Spread butter on inside of both halves. Sprinkle each half with garlic powder, repeat with each pita.

Separate halves into 3 groups.

Top the first group with desired amount of oregano, the second with tarragon and third with dill.

Sprinkle each pita with romano cheese.

Broil until golden brown.

Cut pitas into fourths. Pitas should be crispy.

Fill basket with assorted pitas and serve with dip.
