Sausage, Egg And Biscuit Sandwich

Recipe Description
There's no need to stop at the local drive through for this famous breakfast to go. This version is even better! Make the biscuits first and keep them warm while preparing the sausage and eggs.

6 Slice(sli)  cheddar cheese, cut to fit biscuits
6   old fashioned buttermilk biscuits
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  pepper, freshly ground
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  salt
6   eggs, large
1 Tablespoon(T)  butter
1 Teaspoon(t)  vegetable oil
1 Pound(lb)  bulk pork sausage


Form sausage into 6 patties. In a large non stick skillet over medium high heat, warm oil. Fry patties until meat is no longer pink in the center, 6 to 7 minutes on each side. Remove to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm. In the same skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add eggs and fry until completely set (break the yolks). Season with salt and pepper to taste. Split biscuits and layer a slice of cheese, a sausage patty, and an egg on the bottom half of each biscuit. Replace biscuit tops. Wrap in a paper napkin. Microwave on high until cheese is melted, about 20 seconds. Serve immediately.
