Recipe Description
You can make this pie as rich and gooey as you like. Substitute your favorite flavor of ice cream for the vanilla, then add some banana slices, raisins, peanut brittle or toffee bars. Top it off with your favorite ice cream sauce.

1 Quart(q)  vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt, softened until mushy
4 Ounce(oz)  whole graham crackers or wheat meal biscuits, coarsely broken
1/4 Ounce(oz)  bite sized chocolate bars (plain, crunchy or nut), coarsely broken
1/2 Cup(c)  unblanched almonds or walnuts, coarsely chopped
1   prepared 9 inch chocolate or graham cracker crumb crust
2   graham crackers or wheatmeal biscuits, coarsely broken
6   bite sized chocolate bars, coarsely broken
2 Tablespoon(T)  unblanched almonds, coarsely chopped

Preparation

Spoon the ice cream into a large bowl and gently fold in the graham crackers, chocolate bars, and almonds. Spoon the mixture into the crumb crust and smooth the top. Garnish, if desired, with additional crackers, chocolate bars, and almonds. Freeze until firm, about 2 hours.
