All the comfort of a casserole and spaghetti with meatballs in one easy dish. Delicious and clean up is a cinch!

1/2 Cup(c)  fresh parmesan cheese, shredded
4 1/2 Ounce(oz)  mushrooms, drained and sliced
30 Ounce(oz)  spaghetti sauce
1/2 Cup(c)  green onions, chopped
1 Pound(lb)  uncooked spaghetti, broken into fourths
1   egg, beaten
1/4 Cup(c)  italian style dry bread crumbs
1 Pound(lb)  bulk mild italian sausage
1 Pound(lb)  ground beef


Heat oven to 350 degrees F. In medium bowl, combine all meatball ingredients and mix well. Shape into 24 1/2 inch meatballs. Place in ungreased 13 by 9 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes, or until no longer pink. Remove meatballs from baking dish and set aside. Drain dish. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain. Place spaghetti in same baking dish. Stir in green onions, spaghetti sauce and mushrooms. Top with cooked meatballs. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 50 minutes, or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
